Playoff Heroes – April 28th

Point Guard – Tony Parker (24 points, 9 assists, 9-20 FGs)
Parker had six crucial points in the extra period and ran the team to perfection the entire game which helped the Spurs to stay alive in the playoffs by the skin of their teeth.

Shooting Guard – Manu Ginobili (33 points, 6 rebounds, 6 assists)
Ginobili is quite simply the Spurs’ go to man right now, no longer can they count on Tim Duncan to produce as productively, but they still have Ginobili, and my god, do they ever needed him in this game.

Small Forward – Kevin Durant (41 points, 5 rebounds, 14-27 FGs)
In a night where Russell Westbrook struggled with his shooting, basically the entire Thunder team struggled to score consistently other than Kevin Durant, that’s why he leads the league in scoring and that’s why the Thunder is advancing to the Conference Semis.

Power Forward – Chris Bosh (22 points, 11 rebounds)
Miami did finish off their breakfast, but they didn’t do it in style, however, Chris Bosh did continue his strong play down low with another solid performance. I like how he is doing better when no one cares about him, he should keep it that way. Which also meant he should keep away from doing interviews, PLEASE CHRIS, stay off the mic.

Center – Kendrick Perkins (11 points, 9 rebounds)
PERKISABEAST! good times, you know things aren’t good when Perkins is back to scowling instead of sulking.

makes me feel weird after watching this video, because it’s right for Perkins to intimidate other people, but it’s wrong other others do that to him? Where’s KG?

Sixth Man – George Neal (7 points and ONE BIG THREE)
You know, people confused George Hill and George Neal all the time, they have quite similar sounding names, they have almost the same height, but boy George Neal is separating himself from any George Hill comparison, it’s like Sam Cassell all over again.
