Playoff Starting Five – April 24th

Point Guard – Russell Westbrook (23 points, 9 rebounds, 8 assists)
He missed two key free throws late, but the Thunder still eke out the victory, which is why Westbrook is on the list.

Shooting Guard – Brandon Roy (24 points, 5 assists, 20 points in 4th quarter)
Even though didn’t start in game 4, his play was so stellar he had to be in the starting five, just incredible play considering what happened in games 1 and 2, and he carried the Blazers who were down and out late in the game to an improbable victory and to tie the series at two apiece.

Small Forward – Danny Granger (24 points, 10 rebounds, 4 assists)
After three close games that could have gone either way, the Pacers finally had a game to fall their way and get on the board their series against the Bulls, with Granger finally going off with a solid performance.

Power Forward – Zach Randolph (25 points, 5 rebounds, 3 assists)
Memphis took care of business to win their first ever playoff game in the Fed Ex Forum, and Randolph got it done by hitting the most unlikeliest of shots in his arsenal, a three pointer.

Center – Serge Ibaka (22 points, 16 rebounds, 4 blocks)
16 rebounds, a new career high on a hostile environment, hitting jumpshots, blocking shots, post moves, good stuff from Ibaka.

Sixth Man – A.J Price (10 points, 15 minutes)
There’s a couple of other solid players that made an impact off the bench tonight, but Price is on this list, because who would expect him to reach double figures and have an impact on the game?
